ST. JULIAN'S. PACEVILLE
Rewind to 1995 & the local culinary offering was mostly limited to continental, Chinese and traditional fish restaurants. So, when Tex Mex arrived on the local scene, it introduced Malta to the restaurant-lounge-club scene endorsing American cuisine with a twist of Mexican flavours and in certain cases adjusted to the Mediterranean palate.
The brainchild of Marco Muscat, Tex Mex has become a household name. A landmark on Tower Road, Sliema from 1995 till the end of 2011, after which Tex Mex relocated its iconic presence to the Strand in Sliema.
However, our time in Sliema came to an end and our Sliema establishment has been replaced with our latest establishment in the heart of St. Julian's, Malta's entertainment and dining central, being Tex Mex Paceville.
The success of these establishments can be mainly attributed to the management's strong commitment to the quality of food & beverages served, impeccable service, a design that successfully marries form & function, & a full entertainment offering, featuring DJs & live acts combined with a state-of-the-art audio-visual set up.
The menu is upgraded regularly with the accent of the cuisine based on quality only found on the upper echelons of casual dining. This latest version menu is full of the classic TEX MEX® favorites plus amazing Chicken & Pasta dishes. If you want something to share over a glass of wine, cocktail or any beverage, try one of the mixed platters or appetizers.
The 'pezzo forte' are the famous mouthwatering Baby Back Ribs, amazing Fresh Black Angus Burgers and the gourmet Prime Steak! The portions are much more than generous & only the freshest, top quality ingredients, fish, meats & greens are used in the kitchen by the dedicated kitchen team!
Another key contribution to the popularity Tex Mex® benefits from, is the award-winning vast selection of spirits, wines & beers plus an extensive cocktail list. The latter was first introduced in 1995 by an international consulting bartender, at a time when mixology and fully-fledged cocktail bars did not exist locally. Tex Mex® soon gained a reputation for serving some of the best cocktails on the island carried over & updated to the present day
